I’m Janine Acquafredda — born and raised in New York City. I grew up in the projects and became the first in my family to graduate college, own a home, and start a business. Today, I run multiple businesses across several states as a one-woman show. I built my real estate career from the ground up as a broker, investor, and small business developer.

That journey gave me hands-on skills in land-use and zoning, risk assessment, problem solving, negotiation, budgeting, project management, and community engagement. I’ve had to be resourceful — working with limited funding, minimal help, and people who wanted the exact opposite of what I needed. Those are exactly the kind of skills we need to lead this borough forward.
